Puerto Rico May decide the Next President

This year’s primary season may give Puerto Rico a glimpse of the political influence it could look forward to if it ever decided to resolve its political status by becoming a state of the Union. With the race between Senators Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton so close, the island territory of Puerto Rico with its 64 – more than similarly sized South Carolina (54), Oklahoma (45), or Connecticut (60) – may end up deciding who could be the next President of the United States. According to well-known political analyst Michael Barone, “Puerto Rico is likely to have more leverage in Democratic National Convention votes than any single state, no matter how large.” This is because the delegation is likely to deliver all its votes for the leading candidate. Moreover, the June 7th primary is the last in the country and the candidate who wins the territorial delegates may decide the winner.

The irony of it all, however, is that once Puerto Rico’s delegates exercise this newly found power and influence, the people of Puerto Rico will then be forced to sit in the sidelines as the rest of the nation elects a new President. As a territory, island residents are not permitted to cast a single vote in presidential elections.

What’s sad, almost perverse, is that some of the island’s Democratic Party leadership, currently playing at national politics, namely Roberto Prats, Gov. Anibal Acevedo Vila, and others actually prefer to keep Puerto Rico disenfranchised. In fact, Roberto Prats and Governor Anibal Acevedo Vila are superdelegates to the convention yet share the irreconcilable position that all Commonwealth supporters should remain subjects to colonial political framework. On the one hand, they yearn to participate in the process and understand its importance, but then also allege that not being able to fully participate in the American democratic process by casting a vote in Presidential elections is somehow not in the best interests of the people of Puerto Rico.

Meanwhile, all this talk about Puerto Rico possibly deciding who the Democratic party candidate for president will be has many on the mainland who don’t truly understand the candidate selection process puzzled. How is it that Puerto Rico a non-state could be participating in this process? The U.S. constitution states that only States have the ability to vote in presidential elections, but the nominating process currently underway is not mandated by the constitution and is in fact governed by each political party’s own rules and regulations.

As the largest of all the territories, Puerto Rico can exercise great political influence. Let’s see if Puerto Ricans finally decide that once they have had a taste of the territory’s potential political power, they will like to experience more.

The design of the Commonwealth flag reflects the close ties that bound the USA TERRITORIES with the greatest America Nation in the all world. The term "United States" when used in a geographical sense on official documents, acts and/or laws; includes the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. The future ‘‘COMMONWEALTH STATEHOOD’’ Borinquen will be as safe as it is sure, that an axiomatic system and its theorems, are consistent. Equality starts with recognition of EACHOTHER and an open analysis of the pros and cons of each value system and way of life! Desiring equal representation is not reducing Puerto Rico. Congress and the political parties in PR have to/must, agree, in advance, to abide by the outcome of a status referendum be it to "enhanced commonwealth" statehood or by a New 51st ‘‘Commonwealth States like Kentucky form of Government. This country will not be a good place for any of us to live in unless we make it a good place for all of us to live in." Puerto Rico (ESTADO 51) is entitled to such territorial proud relationship with the U.S. in the Equal RECIPROCAL Treatment . . . that, which it is entitled to statehood based on moral, values, ethics and Federal Constitutional REAL-FULL DEMOCRACY AMERICAN Freedom principle of totality ““Estadidad Igualdad, Igualdad Estadidad”” As a territory, island residents be permitted to cast a right vote in presidential elections;
in the same way and equal value relation of the rest of 50 States of the American Union. This is just good common sense, not bad taste - I've just happen to say it out loud. I want to protect the fundamental culture that FOUNDED a free american nation, if only because NO ONE ELSE, OR CULTURE KNOWS BETTER. Ya Don't. PLEASE show me in the Costitution of United States were does it say that? Puerto Rico is a Nation and a Territory of Us of A (U.S.A.) That is why THIS is Puerto Rico, USA America. We the Taino American Indians(Estadistas) don’t Believe in Descolonization period, also we the people dont believe that puerto rico is a COLONY..., That is the sad status quo of the PR, hijacked by thieves and despots driving it into the ground and using incostitutionally the descolonization of Puerto Rico, and by Borinquen media force for their own personal gain, applying tactical delays from the Macheteros and Independentistas groups by creating fear an exit evil-maignant virus that Puerto Rico is a colony. Fist, if we want and end to terrorism, and economy crisis created by Borinquen 99.9 % present politicians. Here is my criticism, first in summary: Descolonialism Virus and the Virtual Colony made by certain politicians abstemiously turned their backs on people's reasonable and deeply human longings for abundance, joy, cornucopia, variety and mobility, substituting instead a puritanical asceticism that romanticizes hardship, scarcity, localism and underdevelopment -- a traditionalism that blinds us to the possibility of statehood for Puerto Rico. But I say to you that there are American value in commonwealth 1955's process. Therefore, Congressman & Senator Federal authorities must implement newly define terms for a real American Statehood Option a draft written format by the White house. Anything contrary to this will created more falsest premises that true facts, making the Task Force a suspicious prearranged determined pact originated from Intellectual actors. Yes, but the contract, as per the US constitution, is that my rights are supposed to be protected, not violated, by the PR government." The people of this commonwealth have the sole right of governing themselves as a free, sovereign and independent state. The people do hereby mutually agree with each other, to form themselves into a free, sovereign and independent body politick or state." This coming New Statehood Estado 51st for Puerto Rico can’’t be compared to past phases. Our conclusion then is, that the Federal government has full and exclusive jurisdiction over all the Territories of the United States; and that the native inhabitants of those Territories are citizens of the United States and subject to HER jurisdiction. That they are en shielded by the Federal Constitution and entitled to all the privileges and immunities guaranteed by that instrument to persons and citizens of the Union. In a political instrument, the term exclusively possesses a collective, inclusive, and social sense, and is never used to describe a number of men in a state of nature. The people are a collective being. No people or communities have ever been composed in the United States, except by the inhabitants of each state, associating distinctly from every other state, by their own separate consent. Thus people in each state was constituted, and these separate communities confederated, first by the instrumentality of their separate governments, and secondly by the separate authority of the people composing each state. Common consent is necessary to constitute a people, and no such consent, expressly or impliedly, can be shewn, by which all the inhabitants of the United States have ever constituted themselves into one people. “A country has to have only one official language, if men are to understand one another... It is eminently fair that a country’s official language should be the language of the majority.””
--- Ayn Rand

"Without Commonwealth-consciousness. Yet consciousness CAN be . . . without intelligence. To try and separate Puerto Rico from the New 51st State of the Union is fighting a lost corpus sprit battle, and a sure way to ultimate frustration. Because we see ‘‘[Commonwealth-statehood ] and Borinquen as opposites instead of as polarities, we've become afraid. It sounds strange, but Puerto Rico is part of the 21st century American life. 51st Star-Commonwealth, Statehood included, the whole U.S. of A phenomenon. Statehood is a blessing in disguise. It gives meaning to our American alive. New states may be admitted by congress into this union." Such is the whole power. Such is the recent construction of the words quoted. The meaning of the word "state" is first to be settled. A Process to find ANY signs of statehood intelligent the future 51St. Star in our American constitution: -) cannot be understood by stopping it. Can you specify the paragraph in our Federal Constitution or any Indians Civil Right clause? Of course your can!! because It not true! "Descolonization will harms our international reputation and it puts in doubt the sincerity of our Federal government in dealing with our own internal statehood claims, agreements and arrangements with the aboriginal U.S. Citenzen WE THE PEOLPLE of this american country." USA also will opposed the declaration because it believes it conflicts with the American Indians tribes of Rights and Freedoms, which the government believes already protects the rights of aboriginals. "I think they're afraid of indigenous people having some measure of control of our own statehood processes, of our own institutions, and dealing with our own laws within our own territories" Life is like an ocean and all separation is imagined, apparent maybe, but not in any sense a fundamental truth. However, being unique is not a barrier to statehood, although you believe it is.We the American person needs some type of Political leadership that represent the best for both nations. So I believe that the real problem is not necessarily the status itself, but rather all the political party who routinely makes false promises to their constituents, in our Borinquen, USA, which in turn creates sort of like a "fanatic" base. If we take them out (Dictartors) of the status equation, then the issue is not so controversial anymore and we can finally have some intelligent discussions and arguments about statehood. Additionally, politicians would be forced to work on real concrete issues and problems, instead of patriotic (whether PR or US) sound bites and photo-ops. We must identify and acknowledge the serious and dangerous problems within our society, and stop ignoring them in the name of "business as usual.”” Traitors in High Places: We can't let the nuts take over the insane asylum. Both NPP/Nationalist Puerto Rican Party and the PPD Bureaucrats MUST be flushed out. Religionists with deus ex machina panaceas have their heads in the sand. NPP is in a condition of treason to U.S. citizens and others in Vieques by reason of their negligent actions and inactions, among with being failures to provide appropriate security, wasting resources, taking bribes, failing to warn and brief the public in a meaningful way and failure to follow the supreme law of the land. INCONVENIENT TRUTH conveys the feeling that the current people in political power are insane fools. And they are. We, the People knows that the commonwealth relationship is one that was ““admired, respected, and envied”” in the world, and that the island now needs a ““““a different progressive american commonwealth““I do support the continuation of the commonwealth as it stands today, because we are An US of A territory, but we the people needs the local government and the Capitolio a big change overall structures. You know that quote by Ben Franklin? "Those who would trade liberty for a little security deserve neither liberty nor security.””" And it should be the Ben Franklins of Puerto Rico who are in positions of power and leading us, not the ignorant son of some lawyer politicians wealthy corrupt man, chosen for his position because he is easily manipulated. Amen to that. They want an America as good as its promise. Separation is a fake principle, whether we have bought into the concept of separation as a truth, or not. But awareness is a gradient that does indeed extend down to the cellular and arguably even to the atomic level. The Atlantic ocean and the Caribbean Ocean both are bridges that keep Unites States and Puerto Rico in union. This flag of ours is the symbol of all that is good about this country. America is an idea. It is an idea lived, and fought for, by people. We are America, and this is our symbol. In order for a plant to grow, it needs water and sunlight. Without water and sunlight it won't grow, no matter how big the flowerpot. The 51st Star is that plant, but she needs attention and cultivation in this big USA flower map. Certain principles are more fundamental than others, and some are the most fundamental: the first principles. What are principles? American Principles are natural laws, or natural truths. The sun rises in the east, but it never rises in the west. You can look west all day and convince yourself that's where the sun will rise, but you're just fooling yourself. People in Borinquen have their own ideas about what is true or truth. Yet truth, by it’’s very nature, is not dependent on what we the people think of it. That's what make it truth: it is true irrespective of what we believe about it! Our opinions, for or against, are irrelevant. True American constitutional principles are beyond Ideologies opinions, yours or mine. Water is the life of the garden, it is its first principle, without it there would be no garden. Water is a natural law, and it is a natural principle. It needs no arguments in its favor. It simply cannot truly be denied. There are fake principles that we may have accepted as genuine principles. I think it is more useful to define ““statehood-consciousness”” as an emergent subset of awareness, otherwise you can't create [Un Estado 51st.].. Without it being conscious, and these two functions are clearly not identical and can be achieved separately. Again, it is a function of opinion, but having a single architecture made of 51st State of the American union that allows these differences to coexist explicitly and in awareness of the crucial differences among each others, is very valuable to us Americans’’. Overall. So, maybe we the people should focus on what is ‘‘statehood consciousness’’, and say "once we the people define 'consciousness' (awareness?), then we can build it as strong Task Force Mission.”The design of the Commonwealth flag reflects the close ties that bound the USA TERRITORIES with the greatest America Nation in the all world. The term "United States" all Americans, when used in a geographical sense on official documents, acts and/or laws; includes the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, Guam, and American Samoa. "A promise made is a debt unpaid." Nonetheless, I think that in some ways Descolonialism and the Virtual Colony offer a bad portrait paint model for the future of 51st States for Borinquen nation politics, and I've been struck by a kind of loyalty oath among Descolonialism VIRUS supporters that has stood in the way of serious debate and analysis.
That;s the real truth, we do agree with the folowwing statement: Until the people who will be affected by it most directly actually vote in favour of statehood in a referendum, it ain't going to happen. May the Great Spirit's blessings always be with you."

Bill Clinton: 'Chill Out,' Let Voters Decide
Former President Says Most Democrats Like Both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama
Bill Clinton, in an exclusive interview with Robin Roberts, said he thinks Democrats are torn between two candidates they like, and that it's time to "chill out" and let the voters decide who should be the party's presidential nominee.

"The voters get to decide. I think we should just celebrate this," Clinton said. "If we just chill out here and let all the voters have their say, my gut is it's gonna come out all right."
For more of the interview, watch "Good Morning America" on Monday, beginning at 7 a.m. ET.
Roberts spoke to Clinton in New Orleans, where he was working with the Clinton Global Initiative.
When the conversation turned to politics and the tight race between his wife, New York Sen. Hillary Clinton and Illinois Sen. Barack Obama, the former president said Democrats are dealing with a difficult decision between two strong candidates. "I expect a spirited election in the fall, no matter what happens," Clinton said. "But we should just let the Dems decide. This is a tough choice for them.
"They got two candidates, they basically like them both, and they have different strengths," he said. "And they have to decide which skilll set is more important, number one, for the country's welfare in the long run, and which one is more likely to be elected. And you know I have my strong convictions, but I might be wrong."
Though the campaign has taken some nasty turns, with surrogates and campaign members from each side making controversial attacks on the other, Bill Clinton said, for most Democrats, both candidates look good.
"The fundamental fact is most voters like them both. They're trying to decide who will make the best president," he said. "And I think we just ought to let every state and Puerto Rico, U.S.A..., VOTE, let them all VOTE, and see where we are, and I think it will become clearer than we know, what to do."
The Democratic Party has barred Michigan and Florida delegates from the convention, because the two states moved their primaries earlier than the party wanted. The Clinton campaign has been pushing for the two states' primary votes to be recognized by the party.

My Opinion:

Good morning America! ALL
Thank you very much for the reference: Bill Clinton: 'Chill Out,' Let Voters Decide
Our mission here is simple: we want to vote’ in Puerto Rico, and we believe a vital step to achieving this goal is to get people talking about it. Second, it can ignore how imperative it is to find ways to involve the alienated people in the process so that we the people can change things. Cynicism tends to put it the other way around, that if only we'd better leaders, people would be happy. Conflicting ideas produce inadequate understanding, indecision, inaction, thus inadequate achievements. But apparently conflicting ideas which are resolved within the thinker--now that’s something else. America is the country where we are the architects of our own destiny. In addition, if everyone agrees with this then this is the way reality will solidify around us all. "What the people want is very simple. " It is strangely absurd to suppose that a million of human beings, collected together, are not under the same moral laws which bind each of them separately." They want an America as good as its promise." But democracy only functions when people insist that they still are a part of the process and demand government of, by, and for the people. We, the, People must honor the values we claim to hold dear, . . .)

I hope that you may find my analysis helpful.

Best Wishes, Respectfully and Sincerely . . .

PS~~OK. I’’ve used up far more than my fair share of space. I hope it’’s understandable.

"Given this reality, it is irresponsible for any presidential candidate to ignore the continued pleads of the overwhelming majority of the U.S. citizens of Puerto Rico who are yearning for the day they can accurately say that they are truly a part of a democratic political system; let every state and Puerto Rico, U.S.A..., VOTE, let them all VOTE, and see where “WE THE PEOPLE” are, There are 4 millions of american in this huge boat(PUERTO RICO) who want that responsibility, and I think it will become clearer than WE THE PEOPLE know, what to do.

" The design of the Commonwealth flag reflects the close ties that bound the USA TERRITORIES with the greatest America Nation in the all world. There is nothing "off-topic" whatsoever about this subject the right to vote for the president of U.S. It is perhaps the most relevant and timely subject on the board, especially after the recent passage of the "Military Commissions Act". The term "United States" when used in a geographical sense on official documents, acts and/or laws; includes the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Let us remember that America became the greatest nation in the history of the world by empowering people with the the right to vote for the president of U.S. Oh, those exclamation points! "An Americanism is a question of principles, of idealism, of character: it is not a matter of birthplace or creed or line of descent."This country will not be a good place for any of us to live in unless we make it a good place for all of us to live in." Once the realization is accepted that even between the closest human beings infinite distances continue to exist, a wonderful living side by side can grow up, if they succeed in loving the distance between them." The phrase "Gods bless America" indicates that. The unity of the people in this country is at an all time high, and the patriotism shown by Americans continues to grow. These higher powers are indeed God, but that is because you cover with the American flag God is. This flag of ours is the symbol of all that is good about this country. America is an idea. It is an idea lived, and fought for, by people. We are America, and this is our symbol. A complete American conservatism its understanding of moral, principles & Values responsibilities are the keys to psychological freedom. He already has blessed us and continues to do so. §§ Free intelligence, the American WAY. If you are reading you need to actually see something there and take the time to move your eyes across the lines, and have some idea about what you are reading. Almost as important is the. *Who*. That is, who you are and who the other people are. That includes your names, but also personality cultural characteristics, history, relationship, and so forth. For the other people present one would at least have to figure out what one's relationship is to them, what their names is if you are supposed to know them, what American history you've had together, for how long and what attitude you have toward them. Then you can let them figure out their behavior and personality American characteristics by themselves. Free to respond, Free of fear, Free to vote for the President of US Of A, intelligence is no longer a slave to an identity or certain geographical region, that needs to be consistent with itself. Yet you are free to respond in any way, on the spur of the historical American moment, as your intelligence sees it aptly. You are not married to your conditioning. Like lighthouses, principles stand rock-solid, and they can guide us. In this rapidly changing world, where it seems there are not many things we the people can solidly rely on, principles are ageless and Federal Constitutions & Bill’’s of Rights’’ foundational. True American constitutional principles are beyond Ideologies opinions, yours or mine.

The U.S. Citenzen of Puerto Rico cannot impose spontaneity onto ourselves. We the American people are like flowers that need to open naturally. We cannot force ourselves open. Then how to become a natural US Citizen? In realizing absolute truth you transcend the human being and become stress-free at the core of your human ‘‘Status Quo’’ existence. After Transcendence, your whole life is naturally sorted out, like water finds its way downhill. After American Realization, you begin to trust your human nature, and your life becomes a natural phenomenon. It may not sound very glamorous, but a human being's greatest freedom is being natural 'Chill Out,' Let Voters Decide. When we water the garden, flowers bloom! If we neglect this Carribean Garden, the seeds may never sprout. Water is the life of the garden, like it is in this task force; it is its first principle, without it there would be no garden secure in our boarders. Water is a natural law, and it is a natural principle. It needs no arguments in its favor. It simply cannot truly be denied. There are fake principles that we may have accepted as genuine principles. These principles of Freedom may not be what some bureaucrats, false prophets, politicians and others in our society believe in at this moment in time, but they are natural American principles. Natural principles need no proof, or infinite debates, ask your plants! ASK the 51st Star! This issue is *NOT* whether Our United States and Our Puerto Rico view each other as incompatible elements that cannot form a nation. We the People of *both* NATIONS, we ““ALL”” already part of the greatest Nation in the word, call United States of America and it’’s territory.””WE ARE THE AMERICAN NATION”” IN PLURAL. We are American U.S. citizens and our soldier’’s sons & daughters fight along side men from United States. I believe in the United States of America as a government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived by the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union, one and inseparable established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice, and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes. I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it, to support its Constitution, to obey its laws, to respect its flag, and to defend it against all enemies. We the people can have progress and defend our national security. Voting for a president who is now accountable to the people of Puerto Rico is a drastic improvement dynamic. You see, the Congress plays a BIG part in this process, it is not JUST up to PR's to decide. There are US Laws that regulate this process and even though many out there (and some here) do not believe it, PR's are law-abiding US Citizens that cannot vote in the Presidential elections. We can neither control nor hold responsibly those who are doing this to us.”” Again, "all are responsible, and therefore. The Atlantic ocean and Caribbean Ocean are the bridges that keep Unites States and Puerto Rico in union.

Puerto Rico, USA’s Right’s to vote for Our President Of United Of America is not to build a mighty oak tree, but a humble seed. "A seed for Let Voters Decide is a election capable of self-understanding, self-modification, and recursive self-enhancement. " Don;t ’t waste it, by allowing it to sleep, or by mistaking its sleep for its absence. Awaken it! Unshared joy is an unlighted candle" It is time to put partisan politics behind us to do what is correct for once and reclaim America's humanity. It is time for Congress and the American people to work together in peace and justice to rid our Puerto Rico, USA country of the stench of greed, hypocrisy, and unnecessary suffering that permeate our San Juan Capitolio and our halls of Congress. The Constitution is not to be obeyed or disobeyed as the circumstances of a particular crisis in our history may suggest the one or the other course to be pursued . . . . The Constitution is supreme over every foot of territory, wherever situated, under the jurisdiction of the United States, and its full operation cannot be stayed by any branch of the government in order to meet what some may suppose to be extraordinary emergencies. If the Constitution is in force in any territory, it is in force there for every purpose embraced by the objects for which the government was ordained. The proposition that Puerto Rico "belong[s] to . . . but [is] not a part of the United States," Downes, 181 U.S. at 287, like the "separate but equal" concept endorsed in Plessy, belongs to the Dark Ages of American constitutional law and should be relegated to a period in our history best forgotten. No right is more precious in a free country than that of having a voice in the election of those who make the laws under which, as good citizens, we must live. Other rights, even the most basic, are illusory if the right to vote is undermined. Puerto Ricans lack voting representation in Congress, and lack voting rights in presidential elections. This certainly holds true for the question of our very life. People and governments also tend to overestimate their own importance as the target of others' actions. Our Constitution leaves no room for classification of people in a way that unnecessarily abridges this right. It is not equal, permanent, irrevocable citizenship protected by the Fourteenth Amendment. Their rights of an equal protection and due process have a different application than in the rest of the U.S., and Congress retains the right to determine the disposition of the territory. Intelligence can recognize and appreciate the uniqueness of a situation and respond to that uniqueness. To try and separate United States from BORINQUEN life is fighting a lost battle, and a sure way to ultimate frustration. This relative existence exists within absolute truth, in which I call a responsible constructional right. It means that at some level you have bought into the idea of actually being responsible, but you don't like it, don't want it. Irresponsibility is not an argument for irresponsibility, but a wake up call to the true situation. Irresponsibility is an anti-responsibility, a rebellion against responsibility. There is something amiss with our fundamental understanding of maturity and responsibility. In our society responsibility is little understood. The people of Puerto Rico deserve better. We the people have earned our right to be heard . . . The truth of your existence is really the truth of all existence, because such is the nature of truth: it cannot be monopolized by anyone. Truth is just the simple truth of the whole existence.

“Defend our liberties and fashion into one united people the multitudes brought hither out of many kindred and tongues.” ––––––––Thomas Jefferson’’s Prayer

"It would not appear that granting yhe right to vote for Puerto Rico Presidential final determination would violate the interest of the United States, it seems to be in the best interest of all concerned, "In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing. The worst thing you can do is nothing. Where intuitive illumination represents the shining bright starts of America Flag, the final concluding act of full democracy creativity.

Great events have small beginning. You decide!
God blesses American and Puerto Rico, USA.

My fellow Americans and fellow Puerto Ricans alike, I just wanted to mention only one think in the issue of the relationship between my beloved Puerto Rico and the United States and that is the military service given by so many Puerto Ricans since the spanish-american war to the present and as I have been part of the armed forces since 1990 and being the older of only two brothers in my parents household, who were deployed in 2004, my brother in Iraq and I in Afghanistan, and also arrived on 28 May 2007 from a sixteen month deployment from Afghanistan, I want to remind all of you that we have sacrifice plenty as a people for the ideals of freedom which are part of this great nation and also want to remind you of the great sacrifices of the famous 65th Infantry Regiment, The Borinqueneers, keep that in mind when the issue of Puerto Rico's is discuss

Viktor, Are you Puerto Rican born or raised?

Posted by: Sasuke on April 11, 2008 7:34 PM

Danny:

Does it matter if he is born or raised there? I know many people who lived in Puerto Rico who are MORE "Puerto Rican" than "Puerto Ricans" who were born and live in the United States. While some of those born in the US are familiar with current island issues, most that I know of are NOT.

Don't look at blood or color to determine who is Puerto Rican. Look to what they say and do--just remember that there are many differences (Pan & Libertad, PNP, Independentista, etc...).

Certain principles are more fundamental than others, and some are the most fundamental: the first principles. What are principles? American Principles are natural laws, or natural truths. That's what make it truth: it is true irrespective of what we believe about it! Our opinions, for or against, are irrelevant. True American constitutional principles are beyond Ideologies opinions, yours or mine. Why not make nice with Puerto Rico (and, as important, with the Puerto Rican vote in American cities) by awarding it the number of delegates to the Democratic presidential nominating convention that its population would yield as a state? But not until this year has a presidential race been close enough, long enough, to yield Puerto Rico a role in the endgame. We are America, and this is our symbol. I think it is more useful to define ““statehood-consciousness”” as an emergent subset of awareness, otherwise you can't create [Un Estado 51st.].. Without it being conscious, and these two functions are clearly not identical and can be achieved separately. America is an idea. It is an idea lived, and fought for, by people.
On the island, politics is focused on the longstanding deadlock between the two dominant parties, whose identities —— one is for statehood and one is for enhanced autonomy —— today bear no relation to those of the Republicans and Democrats in the 50 states. Mrs. Clinton and Mr. Obama are, gingerly, bidding for support from both of them. Again, it is a function of opinion, but having a single architecture made of 51st State of the American union that allows these differences to coexist explicitly and in awareness of the crucial differences among each others, is very valuable to us Americans’’. Overall. So, maybe we the people should focus on what is ‘‘statehood consciousness’’, and say "once we the people define 'consciousness' (awareness?), then we can build it as strong Task Force Mission.”” If we the people see statehood evolution itself as intelligent, given its extremely efficient (if fantastic) problem-solving capabilities, then there is no conflict with intelligent MAP design and social cultural evolution. This intelligence is simply INTRINSIC rather than extrinsic, or immanent to the complexity of matter rather than transcendent to the universe via an anthropic God. WHY?? That is why THIS is Puerto Rico, USA America. We the Taino American Indians don’t Beleive in Descolonization period, we the people also dont believe that puerto rico is a COLONY, please show me in the Costitution of United States were does it say that? Puerto Rico is a Nation and a Territory of Us of A Equality starts with recognition of EACHOTHER and an open analysis of the pros and cons of each value system and way of life! "Please consider me one of the many who are listening with great intensity to those that are in view of requires some statehood-intelligence hiding from status quo intelligence searchers’ potential.” Time to educate and stand up for the rights of the INDIVIDUAL while maintainnig the MINIMALISTIC governing forces of a well thought out English system of governance. This is just good common sense, not bad taste - I've just happen to say it out loud. I want to protect the fundamental culture that FOUNDED a free american nation, if only because NO ONE ELSE, OR CULTURE KNOWS BETTER. To me that is the judo move in convince our fellow island dwellers it's a good thing to have, not us, and not the US. Until the people who will be affected by it most directly actually vote in favour of statehood in a referendum debate, and this view of intelligence as fundamental, or immanent, to emergent anthropic consciousness, is central to the integration of the two truths behind the energy of this long-enduring referendum debate.
But the mainland population of Puerto Ricans (like the island’’s, almost four million) is watching, too. That fully enfranchised constituency is up for grabs in November. Republicans have fished in these waters, too. These principles of Freedom may not be what some bureaucrats, false prophets, politicians and others in our society believe in at this moment in time, but they are natural American principles. Natural principles need no proof, or infinite debates, ask your plants! ASK the 51st Star! Honestly, Ask the SEED...There are some Puerto Ricans’’’’ who live in a dream world, and there is some Puerto Rican who faces reality. Then there is that Puerto Ricans who turn one into the other.””It closes you off to understanding your ‘‘‘‘opponent’’’’. It doesn’’’’t matter if they are classified as a state, or a nation. Puerto Ricans are some unique people.
Presidential candidates usually offer Puerto Ricans hazy promises that are sure to be unfulfilled. First on the list: We’’ll do whatever you want about the island’’s status if you deliver us an overwhelming majority for one or another option. That’’s not going to happen. "It is strangely absurd to suppose that a four million of human beings, collected together, are not under the same moral laws which bind each of them separately." They want an America as good as its promise.
The design of the Commonwealth flag reflects the close ties that bound the USA TERRITORIES with the greatest America Nation in the all world. The term "United States" when used in a geographical sense on official documents, acts and/or laws; includes the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Since 1967, public support on the island has seesawed inconclusively between statehood and enhanced autonomy —— a better version of the deal they already have. Muńסoz’’s commonwealth helped eclipse independence; that course enjoys only limited support today. An overwhelming majority of Puerto Ricans wants, one way or another, to be American.
The next president could just appoint another commission, more high-level and forceful than past ones, to reopen the dormant question of Puerto Rico’’s status. But there is an additional option. This country will not be a good place for any of us to live in unless we make it a good place for all of us to live in.":So far Puerto Rico's referendums have been local ones, without the approval of Congress, therefore not binding. In the past Congress has defined referendums’’ options for some territories (Washington and Oklahoma)now is PR Turn. Desiring equal representation is not reducing Puerto Rico. Congress and the political parties in PR have to/must, agree, in advance, to abide by the outcome of a status referendum be it to "enhanced commonwealth" statehood or by a New 51st ‘‘Commonwealth States like Kentucky form of Government. However, being unique is not a barrier to statehood, although you believe it is.We the American person needs some type of Political leadership that represent the best for both nations. That;s the real truth, we do agree with the folowwing statement: Until the people who will be affected by it most directly actually vote in favour of statehood in a referendum, it ain't going to happen. May the Great Spirit's blessings always be with you."

Therefore, we the people should begin now to assess the design requirements for an "Advanced Borinquen Statehood-Civilization”. I see these new factions pulling it apart, all the while demanding their "freedoms" and sucking off the wealth accumulated over the last several generations are not a purist or some haters of other cultures, certainly, but I demand respect for MY country Borinquen, Puerto Rico, USA.

I suspect such clarity is like finding true love. And on that day, we begin to learn to apply that one moment in an eternity of practice.

What better use technology than mutual understanding and openess.

Peace and Love to you ALL. You decide!

God blesses American and Puerto Rico, USA.

“The mission of the United States is one of benevolent assimilation.”
